A perfect hotel! Perfectly positioned for shopping on Michigan Avenue, going to Millennium Park, or taking a river walk tour. Had an issue with my room when I arrived (wasn’t a big deal, just a missing pullout sofa), but they upgraded me fantastically! Could not be happier and will definitely come back!

The hotel was super clean and very modern! The staff was very nice and helpful! View is amazing and the rooms were the biggest rooms I’ve stayed in, in the many times I’ve been to Chicago! This hotel is my go-to for any Chicago trip. We are impressed every single time! Also, we noticed that Chicago fire was filming a scene at the hotel which was VERY COOL! My sisters got to meet the cast and take a few pics. Thanks to Brittany our new friend, she helped make it happen! Highly recommend this hotel!

Location is nice but that’s about it. Room wasn’t cleaned to my satisfaction upon check-in. The water in the bathroom smells TERRIBLE. Housekeeping entered my room with knocking or announcing themselves!!! When I checked in I was told that they do room cleaning but my room wasn’t cleaned not once during my 4 days stay. When I called the hotel after my trip to express my concerns he simply said “I’ll make sure staff are trained correctly” That didn’t address any of my concerns nor was he apologetic. What a waste. I’ll be in Chicago again soon, and I won’t be staying here.

The Royal Sonesta was awesome, there was only one downside but I'll get to that. It was clean and staff didn't seem to bother you much. The view is amazing from the 18th floor, but I'm sure that depends on which room you get. Absolutely everything was walking distance, so that was nice. The only downside is there appears to be no valet parking, so we had to walk about 10 minutes away to park the vehicle. I will say, there was a hotel receptionist working and he seemed to be a little frustrated when I was asking where the parking structure was as some of the entrances had closed signs, as my wife and I were struggling to find an open entrance. Other than that, everything was great. We're definitely coming back when we can, especially for the view.

Wonderful experience! Great location! Enjoyed the deluxe suite and all the features that went along with it. Hotel staff was incredible, helping us with whatever we needed from where to get the food we were looking for to helping us with nightlife and our return trip to the airport! If we are back in Chicago, we'll definitely be back here.

Everything was very clean, everyone was wearing masks. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the selection of drinks and snacks at their little market was even smaller than anticipated. They had maybe 10 items, but given the times no stars are lost because of it.

We didn't regret picking this hotel to stay with our family because they met our hopes. The workers were so welcoming, and they made sure we enjoyed our visit. My family and I were so happy and didn't regret having selected this hotel for our family holiday! It's highly recommended!

This hotel has some of the best views of the Chicago Riverfront. Staff is friendly and super helpful, and the hotel is quite clean. Stay well worth it. Would book again.

We are in the HUB of everything we haven't had to use our rental car to get around downtown! The service at the front desk is awesome and so helpful !!! Room is spacious! Great stay!!

Let me give you the only review you'll need. Building is beautiful, friendly helpful staff doing their absolute best. The rooms are huge and spacious and great views. Now I'll give you the bad hotel is outdated. It's such a shame for the beautiful location and potential. It kind of shows the company is struggling. Considering we're in the middle of a pandemic I don't see anything changing, but this looks like it's been from before this. For the price you're paying you're getting a large space, views and helpful staff, but don't count on a updated space. This is shown from the bed sheets, stains on couch, walls, bathroom furniture. I also found a pubic hair in tub. Lots of beautiful and more up to date in decor and attention hotels in the area. Hopefully this hotel will be brought back to life in the future.

Excelente relación calidad precio. Lo mejor son las vistas desde las habitaciones que dan al riverfront. El baño con algunos detalles le hace falta cambiar los muebles la madera podrida. Camas cómodas con blancos nuevos.

Excelente ubicación.Bella vista hacia el río.Solo un detalle sucedió el primer día;no arreglaron nuestra habitación pero todos los demás muy limpia y bien hecha.El servicio en el restaurante muy lento pero al rededor hay muchas más opciones que solventan esto .El personal en recepción siempre amable .Por la ubicación vale la pena hospedarse aquí.
