Buenos días:Paso a detallar nuestra experiencia en Novotel Porte De Orleans el pasado fin de semana.El hotel tiene unas instalaciones fantásticas, un restaurante muy agradable con buena comida, camareros amables y unas habitaciones amplias, muy limpias y muy cómodas. Es un hotel en el que no tendría problema en repetir.Sin embargo, le damos la puntuación más baja por el terrible trato recibido por una persona de recepción llamada Catherine (no sé si es un nombre real, pero así nos dijo que se llamaba cuando le dije que pondría una reclamación por su comportamiento). Paso a relatar los hechos:Acudí a recepción con la intención de solicitar un bolígrafo para escribir en las manitas de mis hijos, mi teléfono y el nombre del hotel, por si acaso se perdían en nuestra excursión por París.Al llegar a recepción no había nadie y vi en el mostrador 3 bolígrafos comunes de plástico. Cogí unode ellos y en el mismo mostrador de recepción sin llevarme el boli, apoyé las manitas de los niños y comencé a escribir.En ese mismo momento, apareció esta persona y con muy mala educación me gritó que por qué yo cogía un bolígrafo sin permiso. Me dijo que ese bolígrafo era del hotel y que yo era una maleducada por no solicitar el uso (insisto en que había tres bolígrafos en el mostrador,y que en ningún momento me lo llevé). Por supuesto pasé mucha vergüenza porque había varias personas en recepción y esta mujer me trató de una manera muy sorprendente y humillante.Evidentemente tras el incidente, decidí no pedir ningún tipo de ayuda en recepción puesto que esta señora estaba todos los días allí y me miraba con unos gestos un tanto extraños y desafiantes. Me resultaba bastante incómoda su actitud hacia mí.Es una pena que una hotel de tanta calidad tenga a una persona en recepción tan poco profesional y tan desequilibrada bajo mi punto de vista. El hotel es muy recomendable siembre y cuando esta señora no se encuentre en él.Siento profundamente los hechos relatados. A los niños y a mí personalmente nos resultó un incidente de lo más desagradable.Saludos,

Dois pontos a melhorar: os elevadores (sempre ocupados) e a limpeza do quarto. Esqueceram-se de tirar o lixo do quarto uma vez. De resto foi muito bom. Próximo de todos os locais, desde que de carro.

The location of the hotel is great! The room was not the cleanest. Old hair was left in the shower and the room needed some serious dusting. I would recommend bringing face towels (wash cloths) because there were none. Also, the tv doesn't translate so maybe bringing a tablet or laptop if you have children. The staff were nice.

We were a family of three. Visited for 4 days paris A very nice cosy room Spacious according to European standards View of Effiel tower was an added bonus Staff was courteous and lively Sandyha at the breakfast time went out of the way to help as we were vegetarians. Very poor breakfast, too much money for its service, not good cleaning in the rooms. The ladies were forgetting cups of coffee and also forgetting to supply towels for 2 persons. Not good memory for me

We had a great stay at the hotel. Our room (suite) was spacious and looked nice and clean. Location is good with easy access to metro/tram and basic stores. Staff was friendly and also the breakfast was according to, or above, expectations. Only negative experience we had was with the restaurant: food was below average and service even lower. We basically got kicked out (got a receipt before dessert without asking). The bar was even worse as there was clearly a lack of staff. After almost an hour waiting we just left. Better to close the bar in that case... The entry to the parking is tricky with a larger car (pay attention for your rimms). All together we had a great time, hopefully the restaurant/bar issue can get solved as it's a shame in comparison with the rest of the hotel. Extra kudos to the management/administration for their flexibility for changing our booking and fast responses.

We liked design of the room, especially the bathroom integrated in the wall. Was nice view on Tour Effel😊 good room insulation. Comfortable beds. Good location close to metro which is very convenient if you travel by car. Parking available in hotel for 19€/day.

El aire acondicionado no enfriaba ni en el máximo, había una cobija para invierno siendo verano y pasamos mucho calor, las ventanas no se abren, las almohadas eran muy duras y el parking lo cobran aparte estando dentro del mismo hotel. Costoso e incómodo.

Estuvimos allí el verano anterior a la pandemia y la experiencia fue horrible. Tienen sólo dos ascensores para una gran cantidad de habitaciones por lo que si salías y llegabas en hora punta perdías muchísimo tiempo porque siempre iba abarrotado de gente. Los recepcionistas no sabían hablar inglés, nos dieron una suite que no era la que habíamos reservado y era demencial por lo sucia que estaba y puesto que las camas auxiliares eran dos camastros tirados en mitad de la sala de estar y no en una habitación individual como pagamos, el retrete tenía un olor fuerte y penetrante a orina además de sucio y mugrientopor la falta de limpieza y se encontraba en un cuarto tan pequeño que si estabas dentro y querías abrir la puerta para salir nopodías por lo que tenías que hacer tus necesidades con la puerta abierta. A los dos días se estropeó el grifo de la ducha y no salía el agua fría algo fundamental en verano cuando estás todo el día andando por la ciudad y llegas muy sudado y agotado a tu habitación para descansar, avisamos a recepción y vino un chico que tampoco sabía hablar inglés que se marchó a la francesa (y nunca mejor dicho) diciéndonos que avisaría a los de mantenimiento que no vinieron ni esa tarde ni en los cinco días siguientes pese a nuestras constantes quejas tanto en recepción como en dirección que no nos hicieron ni caso por lo que les pedimos anular la segunda parte de la reserva se negaron alegando que no podíamos porque la reserva ya se había hecho efectiva y que podíamos marcharnos pero que no nos devolverían el dinero y después cuando finalizó la reserva y pudimos escapar del hotel de los horrores les solicitamos una compensación por las pésimas condiciones y la nula limpieza de la habitación, porque no nos habían dado la suite que habíamos pagado sino una inferior, por los camastros en que tuvieron que dormir nuestros hijos y por los días que habíamos estado sin agua fría y poco menos que se rieron de nosotros y se negaron. Lo desaconsejo completamente.

Hotel limpio, amplias habitaciones, buena comida, muy servicial el personal. Baño con ducha, lavamanos y el inodoro aparte. Caja de seguridad, buen aire acondicionado, excelente colchón en la cama para descansar. Wifi gratis, neverita en la habitación. No use el gym y la piscina per si tienen. Su ubicación te permite llegar muy fácil a una estación de metro y conectas a todos lados.
