The City Market is around 3 minutes' walk away and it is 5 minutes on foot to the Savannah Visitors Center, Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace and the Telfair Museum. Guests can even walk to the very spots where movies such as Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, The Legend of Bagger Vance and Forrest Gump were filmed. The city of Jacksonville is around a 2 ½ hour drive from the hotel. This family-friendly city hotel provides guests with a free breakfast and comprises a total of 160 contemporary guest suites. “My Family and I stayed there this past weekend, December 9 to December 12. I did not really have any complaints about the stay. Housekeeping Never checked on us or anything but in today’s world I don’t really have high expectations for hotels and the service industry in general. So they were still at four stars (for me) until now. I checked out Sunday morning. When I got home I noticed that my work phone was missing. I did not use it much on the trip but I did have it on my possession as I’m a manager for a large air-conditioning company in Florida and someone may have needed to contact me. As soon as I saw that I did not have it, I remembered that it was beside the bed next to the nightstand while I was packing to check out, so I immediately called the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and told me that they did not see it. She then called me back five minutes later and said they did indeed find it. I asked about having it shipped to me and she said I would have to talk to management the next day. They did not call me so I began attempting to call them. I have spoke to very nice people at the front desk but they cannot help me very much.I’ve been asked to get a hold of Leonard Massey, Who is the general managerand also Roberto who is the housekeeping manager. I have left numerous messages between the two. Today one of the front desk clerks asked me to send an email to Leonard and he would get back a hold of me. That was earlier, mid day and I still have not heard anything. By the evidence that I’ve gathered through conversations and what not, I figure that the phone has come up missing or is destroyed and nobody is doing their job in the management side to let me know what’s going on. I can tell you, I will never leave anything in a hotel again and I swear I will never stay at another Marriott. I am totallydisappointed. I’ve never stayed at a Marriott where I did not have an awesome Customer service during the stay and after. This time the stay was OK but After is really Not up to par. I take full responsibility for leaving my cell phone. All I’m asking for is some freaking answers. . If you are staying in Savannah, I would recommend one of the Hilton‘s there. I’ve stayed at several and they’ve always been great. Let the pillow one time and was sent to me and I received it within a couple of days. Actually I spent less time waiting on that pillow than I have waited for a phone call from the housekeeping manager at this point”

“Minha família e eu ficamos lá no fim de semana passado, de 9 a 12 de dezembro. Eu realmente não tenho quaisquer reclamações sobre a estadia. Limpeza Nunca verifiquei como estávamos ou qualquer coisa, mas no mundo de hoje eu realmente não tenho grandes expectativas para os hotéis e a indústria de serviços em geral. Então eles ainda estavam em quatro estrelas (para mim) até agora. Fiz o check-out no domingo de manhã. Quando cheguei em casa, percebi que meu telefone do trabalho estava faltando. Eu não o usei muito na viagem, mas estava comigo porque sou gerente de uma grande empresa de ar condicionado na Flórida e alguém pode ter precisado entrar em contato comigo. Assim que vi que não estava com ele, lembrei que estava ao lado da cama ao lado da mesinha de cabeceira enquanto eu fazia as malas para o check-out, então liguei imediatamente para o hotel. A recepcionista foi muito simpática e disse-me que não o tinham visto. Ela então me ligou de volta cinco minutos depois e disse que eles realmente o encontraram. Eu perguntei sobre o envio para mim e ela disse que eu teria que falar com a gerência no dia seguinte. Eles não me ligaram, então comecei a tentar ligar para eles. Eu posso te dizer, eu nunca vou deixar nada em um hotel novamente e eu juro que nunca vou ficar em outro Marriott. Estou totalmente desapontado. Eu nunca me hospedei em um Marriott onde não tivesse um ótimo atendimento ao cliente durante a estadia e depois. Desta vez, a estadia foi OK, mas depois não é realmente par. Assumo total responsabilidade por deixar meu celular. Tudo que estou pedindo são algumas respostas estranhas. . Se você estiver hospedado em Savannah, recomendo um dos Hilton lá. Eu já fiquei em vários e eles sempre foram ótimos. Deixei o travesseiro uma vez e foi enviado para mim e eu recebi dentro de alguns dias. Na verdade, passei menos tempo esperando naquele travesseiro do que esperei por um telefonema do gerente de limpeza neste momento”
