A impressão que fica é que adicionam água para "economizar" nas outras partes. Ótima localização com atendimento 5 estrelas.

This hotel is only partially functional. We are staying here currently, and are repeatedly being told by management that various amenities (e.g., Flowrider, Hot Tubs, kids center, activities center, outside sports bar, BBQ pits for cooking, housekeeping, etc.) are “closed due to COVID.” This is nonsensical, as Quintana Roo/Cancun is “green” for COVID restrictions- the least restricted of Mexico’s four tier system. According to the Mexican and local Quintana Roo government resources, these amenities are ok to be open and functional, provided reasonable precautions are taken. The Westin Resort and Spa hotel, contrary to government recommendations and guidelines, repeatedly tells us amenities are “closed due to COVID” and/or “direction from their corporate office.” Prior to arriving at the Westin Resort and Spa this afternoon, we stayed at the Westin Lagunamar for five nights. The Westin Lagunamar is just down the road (about 10 minutes away) and was fully functional; all amenities were open. Masks were required in common areas and I saw the employees doing a phenomenal job of keeping everything clean. I felt very comfortable and safe there. Conversely, the Westin Resort and Spa is run down, empty, and partially closed (although their service/cleaning staff are very kind and welcoming). We were not notified of any of these shut downs and restrictions until we arrived and were checking in. At that point, we had no other option. It’s like a bait and switch routine. Interestingly, they are still charging their normal prices and room rates for a partially inoperable hotel. The service staff have been great. They are all friendly and welcoming. The food at the pool/beach and at the on-site restaurant (Stone and Sea?) is delicious. My son had the NY steak and I had the grilled chicken and grilled veggies. The grilled zucchini was amazing. My brother said he ate the best burrito of his life at the sports bar, and my chicken tacos from the pool/beach bar were fantastic. When the BBQ grills were still inoperable on the last night of our stay, the sports bar staff was awesome and cooked our chicken breasts for us at no charge. While I find the people who work here to be great, the office staff have not been as friendly or accommodating. My brother is a Westin timeshare owner. As an owner, one of the touted benefits is late checkout. We asked several times for a late checkout and each front desk, concierge, and office staff refused, saying late checkout is only available on the “hotel” side of the resort- it’s not available for the suites or studio rooms. SMH. Also- the pictures online look NOTHING like the hotel or grounds now. It’s stunning how beautiful the pictures look online, and not so much in real life. It’s like a cheaper version of what is shown online. The gym looks nothing like the online pictures and is missing half the equipment and machines shown in the pictures. Plus the equipment must have been built in the 80s. It’s very dated and old, barely functional.The room doors are not soft close doors, so it is very noisy. I can hear doors closing down the hallway from inside my room. The bed and linens are not the Westin Heavenly bed. The linens are hard and scratchy and the bed is hard. The towels are the Heavenly brand.We have a strange sewer-like smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom and the shower head is covered with lime scale and rust. Truly, it’s a bait and switch beyond even the closed amenities. I highly recommend going down the beach to the Westin Lagunamar and avoiding the subpar Westin Resort and Spa.

This hotel is old and much bigger than it looks from the street. They were in the process of renovating the building next to us while we were there so it was very loud. They were also working on the elevator and someone set off the fire alarm and it woke me up while I was taking a nap at one point on Friday. There was a huge crack in the marble in our bathroom. I found out that the hair dryer didn't work when I was getting ready for a wedding we were attending. On the upside,the view from our room was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful time. Room upgrade at no extra cost. Food is very good. Spa amazing. Customer service excellent. Felt safe during pandemic. Easy covid testing scheduling and fast results. Housekeeping fun animals made for kids with washcloths was so sweet. Definitely worth a stay. We stayed 7 days here. 6 miles from airport.

My Wife, Children and I stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa for Six Days. We just got Home this evening. I must say they have superior customer service and caring staff. They pride themselves on making sure you have the best Vacation. From Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, the staff works extremely hard to ensure your food and drinks are prepared to perfection. My Wife and I loved how the staff members memorized what type of drinks we liked. They definitely are 5/5 Stars. Housekeeping is phenomenal and they clean your Room and the Facility daily. It’s definitely worth your investment to come to the Westin Resort and Spa for your Vacation. We will be back in two Years.

Staff is outstanding, however manager of Front Desk refused to honor the vacation ownership voucher I was presented. Although I forgot to present it at checkout, I contacted them at the airport asking if I could send them a picture as I had just checked out 30 minutes prior. It was pouring rain and I did not think it necessary to go back to the hotel when I could send them a picture of my voucher, a voucher issued to me by the vacation ownership team across the hallway. As a Starwood vacation owner this is patently unacceptable. Additionally disappointing is the quality of the hotel room interiors. The bed is nice, however it had a vinyl cover over the mattress causing us to sweat at night; the interior lights are cheap. What remains exceptional about this hotel are the staff. They are wonderful, from the folks working the dining venues, activities team, towel issue hut, and housekeepers are the best I have ever seen in over 12 years of vacation ownership. Finally, the fitness center and spa staff are also outstanding. Unfortunately, my parting experience will remain my lasting experience. I will not be returning to this property.

Our two bedroom, ocean-facing villa was beautifully appointed and well designed. The grounds were kept very clean and the staff was unobtrusive but helpful. The Westin Resort & Spa provides a very tranquil environment. Wonderful location for the local bus service to shops, restaurants, excursions and night life

Estuve hospedada hace unos días y olvidé una camisa en la cama, la cual reporté a unas horas de salir del hotel y la camarista no la reportó por lo tanto se la robó. Insistí por varios días pero me siguen diciendo que nadie la reportó. No soy la única persona que vio ahí la camisa por última vez y si no estuviera tan segura de que la dejé ahí. No me atrevería a escribir esto. Así que les recomiendo que tengan cuidado porque ahí se roban tus cosas. Pésima experiencia.

Went on a solo trip to Cancun for my birthday and had a great time at The Westin! I had the lagoon view thinking it would be okay but NO! Go with the ocean view haha. There are activities at the pool throughout the day which is nice. Very relaxing hotel, not much party which I enjoyed. I’m not a big fan of American food in foreign countries but I landed late and had little to no choice. The corn pie was delicious !

It's pretty amazing to watch the attention to detail given to cleaning the hotel and adhering to COVID protocols. The resort is nice really nice but you can tell it's the start of the off season. You'll see several construction workers coming in, in the morning for what has to be a biannual refurbishment by the looks of this place. Everything is really nice, this isn't really quality you'll find in the states. The attention to detail you find here is a resorts only thing that's only rivaled by the Disney resorts and some of the 5 Star luxury hotels. The accommodations are above standard even tho this Westin must be mid tier based on the pricing of some of the other hotels on the beach. It's not the cheapest but it's not nearly the most expensive. It's really hard to explain how really nice everything is. Stone walk ways abound, clean beach rooms with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. By my review you would think I'd give 5 Stars. But two of the three elevators is broken and there are some scary movie light things going on downstairs. Plus I'm guessing the hotel maybe using well water as it was brown for a second one morning.

Amé mi estadía en el hotel. El personal de lo más amable y sobre todo, la higiene en la habitación y en todo el hotel fue excelente así que no me sentí nerviosa de contagiarme de Covid. Todo fue perfecto.😍💛😍💛

I came here to get away from the sound of leaf blowers. The Lagoon view is not bad ..its quite beautiful actually......it’s peaceful with birds in the morning ..........but then I’ve been woken up by leaf blower’s the last couple days...ALL DAY :( had to escape the room. Another point. I would like to be plastic free on my vacation. I brought my own Refillable bottle and I appreciate they offer water in the lobby to refill. However I noticed they use single use plastic shampoo bottles and conditioner and body wash in the shower. I have walked up and down the beach and noticed tons of micro plastics..... a Hotel of this brand should know better and wake up.... install dispensers in all the showers and discourage the use of water bottles.... eventually tourists will get the idea and bring their own refillable bottles........That’s my solution

I cant say enough great things about this place. From the time of booking this vacation to the time of departure, I was in Awe!! The room, the view, the food and drinks, the atmosphere and the Staff were all amazing. The Staff were always friendly and over accommodating when it came to any need you have. This is not an all inclusive hotel but after the first night you forget that and begin to feel as if you are in a private paradise.

Great place but expect no special treatment if you are a loyal customers Stayed four nights in a two bed room vila. Clean and well maintained place. It had everything we needed, 3 massive TVs, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, massive balcony and more. The restaurants serve amazing food. The beach is clean and well staffed. The disappointment was that you get charged to use the sauna. In addition, you get kicked out at 10 in the morning. Even with my platinum elite status they refused to give me a late check out. That is below expectation and it kind of ruined our experience. After all you come to Cancun to party and the least you should get is a noon check out after a rough night.

My stay at the Westin was a pleasant surprise, the staff are friendly and attentive, the beach and pool area are a comfortable place to spend the day with everything you need nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities you would need. The Westin also seems to be making an effort to be eco-friendly, which is appreciated! Overall I would recommend and return to this place for a second stay if in Cancun again!
