Right downtown close to everything. Valet was super nice. Front desk staff were great. Had an issue with our digital key in the elevator and one of the cleaning people saw and helped out right away. Great rooms. We were in the 5th floor and there was a little draft from the window above our heads in the bed. Didn't really bother me though. One of our friends on the trip hurt their knee and the staff was quick to get us a wheelchair. So thankful to them.

Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. We thought Westin hotels were better than this. Two stained bath towels, a white powder on the bathroom floor, and dirty ice tongs. Had contact with two employees regarding this who assured me that the director of operations would contact me when he returned from his two week vacation, but still haven’t heard from him. Our stay was December 16, 2022, and it is now January 9, 2023. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful, the staff was very nice, and the location is great.

The hotel did not live up to its reputation and has degraded over the last few years. The room was an average hotel room, with a couch that looked like it was left over from the 1990s, even though the hotel was built in the early 2000s. The service was also just ok. We placed our room service request on the door at about 10:30 at night, and the request said to hang it out by midnight for breakfast. It was never checked, and we waited for room service that didn't come. We then decided to make coffee with the coffee maker in the room. Apparently, no one does that at this hotel. The coffee packets provided are for regular coffee pots, but the coffee maker is for individual-sized coffees, so the coffee did not fit in the maker and could not be used. Also, the coffee packs were so old they were expired and dusty. We paid for a higher-floor room but got one less than halfway up the hotel. The room didn't come with the amenities it said it would. You have to pay for internet in addition to the 350 dollar hotel room. It's just the little things that take away from the experience. For less money, you can have better rooms, with better views of downtown at other hotels. It's not a bad hotel. The location is great, and the beds and showers are good, but it is not a great experience.

My recent stay was nothing less than spectacular!! From the time we arrived to departure was first class! Clean and comfortable rooms. We also had lunch in the restaurant inside the hotel and it was delicious! Polite and attentive staff! I highly recommend!

Nice hotel. They've upgraded and redesigned the rooms since we were here last. Love the addition of a big couch in the rooms. One day we had fabulous service that cleaned our room. The next day we had very weak service. They never emptied the garbage or gave us more toilet paper and we had to call down for some at midnight. We never got new plastic cups. We ate in the bar one night. Most of our food was great but my daughter got the ravioli and we're pretty sure it gave her food poisoning. My husband was the only other person to eat it and he got food poisoning as well. Everything else on our trip was shared so we're pretty sure it was the ravioli.

Great hotel! Excellent location as well. We were able to walk to dining and the Bank of America stadium. The hotel was very clean and modern. We had nice views of the city from our room as well. They have valet parking and self-parking that is very close to the hotel entrance. They do require masks to enter, so don't forget yours. The room itself has nice amenities and extra bonus- the Baltimore Ravens were staying there for the pre-season game against the Panthers. I met Don "Wink" Martindale in the elevator!! We had a great weekend stay. I highly recommend this hotel for staying in downtown Charlotte. Spacious closet and bathroom as well as a huge mirror on the wall by the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel with a very modern and minimalist decor. As can be expected, the service was second to none. Ample parking with valet service. Extremely easy to get to and right in the heart of downtown with tons of eating and drinking establishments within walking distance. The room was sparkling clean, well appointed with all new amenities. On-site Starbucks was nice as was their onsite restaurant for breakfast. Expect to pay $$ for everything, but a very good return on value, amenities and service. Will absolutely return.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your hotel. They compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Always seems to be the place many stay. Low to high end. Personally , I haven't stayed at this location.

Was staying here for a few nights for work trip. Location was great, easy to walk around “uptown”. Their restaurant had a solid breakfast and the gym was large size, with even a Sauna room in their locker room. The JW was across the street with a nice roof top bar and a Whole Foods next door, which was nice to grab a meal and some drinks from one day for lunch.

I stayed at this hotel from 12-18 to 12-20 an it was beyond perfect. The location was excellent an very accessible to restaurants, bars, stadiums and etc. The front desk person I believe his name was Waddle young guy he was perfect. Made sure my family and I had everything we need along with continued to check in on us to make sure I stay was nice. He provide me with numbers of restaurants we can attend along with activities. I tell you I have never experienced anything like this before from the front desk rep. The customer service from him was beyond this world an not to often you come across something like this. The next time we visit Charlotte we will be staying here an I will recommended all my friends to stay here as well. Thank you Marriott

This hotel was the spot to be back in the day… Back when Bar 10 was always live and full of people having a great time. We use to stay here and pregame before the Panther’s games and afterwards. Always had a good time and enjoyed our stay. They use to have an amazing bar staff, that kept us and other customers coming back.. But, not any more, this hotel has really fallen off. Kind of sad, as this was our go to hotel uptown.

Never got housekeeping or even trash collection. Called to ask for toilet paper never received it. Touts having Starbucks in room. Did not. Prices in dining bar area astronomical. Two drinks 40.00. Restaurant not open!

Great stay at the Westin Charlotte! We were there about 6 weeks ago. Convenient location at the edge of uptown. There is also a rail station directly behind the hotel. As a gold Bonvoy member, I received a suite upgrade, which provided a great view of the city. Only downside is that the pool is closed, or at least it was during our visit.
