I am spending three weeks here for business. It has exceeded my expectations! Not only is there variety in food, but there is variety in speed as well. There is a breakfast buffet, express lunch and dinner options in the restaurant or room. All are excellent! Room service and pool side service is available during the day. The hotel has a fitness center with cardio equipment and very basic weights. You will be disappointed if you are expecting free weights. There are not many and the bar locks do not work anyway. The cable strength machine is new and good. There are treadmills, a water rower and an elliptical. I enjoy exercise and so this was my only complaint. The rooms are basic but include a refrigerator, mini bar, a TV and a closet. There is a good sized safe to store valuables. A closet and some drawers. The room includes an iron for pressing clothes and a hot water kettle for instant coffee. The room has an air conditioner but no heater. It is still plenty warm. I had no problems. The bed is very comfortable with a variety of pillows. Staff made and cleaned the room daily. Bathroom includes a shower with very good water pressure and hot water. The hotel is located on Av. Paulista and is close to many shopping destinations and food places. It is a couple minute walk to many convenience stores for drinks and snacks as well as drug stores. Av. Paulista closes on Sunday for walking and entertainment. I had no security concerns outside the hotel. Regular precautions are all you need. Staff speak English very well. They were patient with me as I tried my Portuguese even though I am a beginner! I highly recommend this hotel!

I was booked here after a delayed flight. Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast food was excellent. And the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond, helping me secure a taxi because I do not speak Portuguese. The building is very secure as well with security guards in the lobby. Highest recommendations.

Horrible experience that I would not recommend even to my worst enemy. The quality of the hotel rooms absolutely does not reflect the price paid, restaurants and specially breakfast could be categorized as a maximum security prison kitchen. Anyways, the weak point of the structure is certainly the staff, poorly trained, with an embarrassing level of spoken English and an exorbitant slowness at their duty. Sure thing is that we’ll never show up again at any Melia.

The location and the overall service at the hotel was good, but the room, especially the bathroom, feels like a 3 stars budget hotel. It's very worn down, it looks like the maintenance isn't properly done. Apart from what's in the photos, there was a hole in the bed linens and hair in the sink drain.

The room and bathroom were simply too outdated for me. Don’t wanna bash the hotel though. The room may be just right for you. Customer service was good at the reception. Also I think they could user higher quality cards to use on the elevator. It sucks when you get on the elevator and your card doesn’t work so you have to go back and wait in line at the reception to have your card reprogrammed. Several people had this issue. Hotel is in a good location. That’s a definite pro.

It's good, the decor is awesome but it doesn't worth the price honestly. You can have better accomodations somewhere else with the amount they charge

The hotel is nice. Cozy and the staff are helpful. Alessandra, Caio both were really helpful during my stay. The security guard also are nice guys and they helped in carrying language

I didn’t book this stay, my partner did and as I am here to write a review I am SHOCKED this is considered a 4 stars hotel. There is absolutely nothing 4 star about it! Maybe Valet?! We booked our stay for two nights and stayed in a hypo allergenic room, which just means it did not have carpet but the room although big was hot temperature wise but felt very cold and dirty visually. There was mold on the shower wall ( I should have taken a picture) and it just smelled dusty. The hotel itself is rundown and old which I do mind but doesn’t make or break my experience. What makes it or break it is the customer service which is NON EXISTENT. Friendliness also NON EXISTENT. I won’t go into too much details but basically this two night stay was part vacation, part remote work but we could not work because they could not provide us with wired internet which is advertised. We let Silvia at the reception desk know in advance that we tested the internet and it was not working but would need it for the next day and they assured us the next day IT would take care of it but to meanwhile call *444. We did all that was asked And it never worked and in desperation we had to book another hotel just so we could work as this hotel failed to assist us, failed to recognize the urgency and failed to care. We ended up only staying there one night, didn’t have their complimentary breakfast and left that same day. We didn’t ask for our money back for the night we forfeited because we just wanted to get the heck out of this God Forsaken place. DO NOT STAY HERE! Go to any Marriott and I assure you they will at the very least greet you with a smile when you walk in the door, which is a basic customer service treatment we didn’t receive.

By far the worst hotel I stayed at in SP. Bad service in reception with attitude, it took 3 hours and 5 calls to just get my laundry picked up from my room (and that was on an urgent request), room extremely outdated. I have stayed there twice and gotten the same treatment.

Bedroom Door locks not functioning correctly, bedroom door could be opened by anyone outside the room. This happened on both days I was staying there, reception called maintenance to fix this on both days and a lack security doesn't seem to bother the reception when I called down. I Was actually asked was I in a rush to go out WHEN I called again as was waiting 30 mins on the second day. Room very outdated and certainly not a 4star hotel, bathroom old and mouldy, shower not great, shower floor floods too....2 star at very best.very very disappointing experience. I certainly do not recommend and will not return

I would not go there during winter! Not well isolated and no heating! The AC is for cold air only! Summer it should be fine. COVID, breakfast and single traveler seems to be a difficult combination...
