Such a beautiful resort. Be sure to allow enough time to experience all the Grand has to offer. Awesome pools. Great amenities. Fabulous restaurants and bars. Just sitting in the magnificent lobby and listening to the piano player is so relaxing. Always Fabulously decorated for each holiday.

This resort is very overrated for what they’re charging. The lobby is beautiful. The service is wonderful. But the price that Disney charges for this hotel is absurd. The rooms are old, outdated, and musty. You’re basically paying to be near the magic kingdom and for “bragging” rights. I like the other resorts a lot better and genuinely do not see the hype. This resort is 34 years old now and the rooms are showing that they need some TLC. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s fun to visit, but even the restaurants aren’t worth the price. They’ve gone downhill with the quality of the food. If you want to pay top dollar for an overpriced, musty, generic hotel room, enjoy! Maybe DVC members have a different experience?

Very beautiful and prettiest of all the resorts. The construction does ruin the looks though. Easy access to Magic Kingdom park and beautiful views as well. Way way o errands priced as with all the resorts. It used to be more sensible with the perks from staying on property but not worth it anymore. Rooms are sure not worth the 600 to 800 bucks a night especially if you spend your days in the parks and only sleep in your room.

Great location to check out the Christmas decorations. It is a bit crowded and we waited in line for about 20 min to get anything at the gingerbread house. The tree and piano playing are worth the trip alone. Not much is decorated on the grounds outside the main lobby. We took a tour around the pool and waterfront but it was a bit cold so we moved on to another resort on our tour of decorations

Though I've visited this hotel many of times, I have never stayed in a room here. I've often visited for a meal or to see the holiday decorations. Grand Floridian is located along the Monorail line so it is super easy to stop in and immerse yourself in the elegant atmosphere. During the holidays, you can catch the multi-floor Christmas tree, beautiful decor and massive Gingerbread house. You can even buy some sweet treats at the Gingerbread House. This is a perfect spot for photos with friends and loved ones, maybe even to capture a family photo for the Holiday card. Be sure to also catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the dock.

Had a Saturday night reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe. Went in with low expectations, but left very pleased and happy. Ordered the New York strip steak with green beans. I was very impressed with the entire meal. Service was great and the homemade steak sauce was delicious and I'm a guy that does not believe in a steak sauce for good streaks.... The sauce was great! Of course, the atmosphere was great. Anytime we can get to hang at the Grand Floridian, we will. Enjoy!

The Grand Floridian Resort is in my opinion the best resort for a family stay at Walt Disney World. The resort has its own monorail stop accessible from the second floor of the resort. The first stop is the Magic Kingdom park which is across the lake from the resort. You can enjoy the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and the parade on the lake from the resort. There is also a boat service from the Magic Kingdom to the resort. The bus stop at the resort makes it easy to get to the other parks. I always enjoy my stay at the Grand Floridian. There are great restaurants at the resort including a type of convenience store. There is a nice walkway along the lake connecting the resort to the Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort. The resort itself are very clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Grand Floridian Resort offers a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere with the convenience of being moments away from the Disney parks and attractions. Bottom line, is this is by far my preferred resort!

This place is absolutely stunning. I've been blessed to stay at a few of the Disney hotels, and their service, cleanliness and amenities are top notch. This was my first time I stayed at the Grand Floridian. From the moment we stepped off the bus we were greeted by staff ready to help with anything and everything. We had a pool room view, which was beautiful. The architecture, stunning. Came during December 2020, and it's so quiet and peaceful here. Disney really put a lot of effort into following CDC guidelines at their hotels and parks.

Super nice! Comfy! Very pricey but you get what you pay for. Valet parking, comfortable beds, water lights show at the back of the hotel and even free pads & tampons if your friend shows up. Bar upstairs in the main lobby. Several restaurants to choose from including character dining at 1900 Park fair with Cinderella and the step mother and sisters and of course Prince Charming. Love the interaction and the food there. Spacious rooms, and many different pools to choose from and they even have movies on the green. Very nice stay.

Love this place, can be costly but is somtehing you will never for foget

Good. I am going to lose a few things that hold this back from being great. First off the kiddie pool which looked awesome was getting re done so we had zero access to it. The restaurants inside grand Floridian are borderline inedible. We tried some pasta there and we just had to get something else to eat when we left. They have the monorail but everyday there was a note saying how it wasn't working. It wasn't going to Epcot at all during our stay. They also stuck us in building 8. If you have small kids I would not stay here. I would look for a more kid friendly place. This hotel is very clean and the people are nice but not a fan of the food here and just no kid friendly things.

It's no wonder that this is the crown jewel of Walt Disney World's resorts! It is gorgeous, luxurious and right across the lagoon from Magic Kingdom! The rooms, lobby, pools, spas and transportation are all amazing. Great amenities. And we love Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare. We usually go for the character breakfast! The restaurant is beautiful and whimsical! Like being in Mary Poppins, complete with Merry Go Round horses! It is definitely one of the most expensive resorts but even if you can't afford to stay here, take advantage of dining at one of their amazing restaurants. It is worth every penny!

An amazing experience. Traveling with 3 young children is never easy. Disney was an amazing experience but the staff at Grand Floridian did not play a small part. They were amazing, professional and always able to help. Had the absolute pleasure to getting A+ assistance from wonderful people like Tammy at the front desk and our concierge Alejandro. Never have we felt so welcome while on vacation. Thank you. Look forward to our next trip.

Live the live music in the lobby (pianist and orchestra). Band needs to be moved out of the front corner so they have better acoustics. Also a terrific new lounge, the Enchanted Rose... great ambiance and views, sit inside or out. Tables and cozy chairs, couches. Interesting cocktail options. Recommend the French Rose martini and the Rye Not.

Went for character buffet dinner. The characters were great, and, really stayed "in character;" Cinderella's Evil Step Mother was hilarious. Well done Disney, Cinderella, Step sisters, and, Evil Step Mother... great job all of you. Food at the buffet... good. Not inspired. What you would expect for a place with lots of kids, and, having to cater to a wide variety of palates and tastes. Mostly fairly bland (except for salt... LOTS of salt!). Mostly decent quality though. And, the table service was above reproach. The service from the hostesses, and everyone else was top-notch. Enjoyed the live band in the lobby, and, the "Christmas Ambiance" with the Gingerbread House, etc...

We arrived early and was told room would be ready at 3pm. We came back at 3:20pm and room was not ready was told there was a delay. 1 1/2 hours later room was ready. We got to room and our bands...
