“The Grand Floridian Resort is in my opinion the best resort for a family stay at Walt Disney World. The resort has its own monorail stop accessible from the second floor of the resort. The first stop is the Magic Kingdom park which is across the lake from the resort. You can enjoy the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and the parade on the lake from the resort. There is also a boat service from the Magic Kingdom to the resort. The bus stop at the resort makes it easy to get to the other parks. I always enjoy my stay at the Grand Floridian. There are great restaurants at the resort including a type of convenience store. There is a nice walkway along the lake connecting the resort to the Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort. The resort itself are very clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The Grand Floridian Resort offers a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere with the convenience of being moments away from the Disney parks and attractions. Bottom line, is this is by far my preferred resort!”

“Great location to check out the Christmas decorations. It is a bit crowded and we waited in line for about 20 min to get anything at the gingerbread house. The tree and piano playing are worth the trip alone. Not much is decorated on the grounds outside the main lobby. We took a tour around the pool and waterfront but it was a bit cold so we moved on to another resort on our tour of decorations”
